===EVENT AT CASTLE ELY – SUNDAY 23RD – CONTACT CAZ IF YOU WANT TO ATTAND===
It is ‘Dragonfly Week’ from the 15th – 23rd July, so to continue the development of our Local Wildlife group, Dee has made the excellent suggestion that we get together to conduct a dragonfly survey (The Dragonfly challenge) on Sunday 23rd July, at 6pm.

The Wildlife group is currently a few families with a love of wildlife wanting to get together to learn more about our local environment. All are welcome and we want to grow it so more people are involved so we can share our skills and knowledge of the local area.

Location:
Dee has made contact with Andrew who owns a property called Castle Ely Mill (Red Roses) and he has kindly offered that we can go there. http://www.castle-ely-mill.com/location.html

Here is a message from Dee with further information:

Look forward to seeing you on 23rd. Let’s hope the weather is good.
I discussed a few things with Andrew at Castle Ely Mill – Parking is on the road above the property, no dogs please { they have 2] Children welcome but MUST be supervised at all times, there are some holiday cottages we have to go past to get to the site so I said we would be respectful of their privacy, will need to know numbers attending so anyone who would like to come can phone me on 01994 453571. and I can give them all these details. Good idea to bring sensible footwear and binoculars.
I also said we would send them the results of the survey.
There is info about the survey and pics of Dragonflies on the British Dragonfly Survey Website, I will get some of it printed for our event.
