We at St Elidyrs Church Amroth, following the success of our Christmas tree festival, have decided to hold a festival of craft this summer to celebrate the creativity of our local artisans and craft groups.
This will be held in the church this August setting up on the afternoon of Monday 1st August 1pm-4pm and displaying throughout the week Tuesday –Saturday 11am- 4pm with a closing celebratory service on Sunday 7th August at 5pm, after which items and displays may be packed up and taken home so that the church may be left open and unattended as is the norm.
We feel this will be an opportunity to invite the community and of course those holidaying in the area to explore the church and offer an opportunity to purchase any items individuals have crafted if those providing their wares want to offer their wares for sale.
If you could let us know if you’d like to be a part of this project and whether you will be a prospective seller or simply wish to display your crafts.
We also hope to organise a programme of demonstrations, so if you feel able to demonstrate your craft please let us know when you would be available so that we can arrange the programme.
We look forward to hearing from you at the latest by Friday June 24th so arrangements for advertising may be made,
Revd Marianne Osborne Rector.
